Configure BSNL GPRS on Nokia 7210 Mobile manually | BSNL GPRS Settings

My Nokia 7210 was not receiving GPRS settings from customer care , even i searched on web for settings to set it manually but failed .
I am sharing the configuration that worked for me .
Following Configuration is for BSNL SOUTH ZONE
Step 1 : GoTo Menu – » Settings – » Configuration – » Personal config.sett. [ add new web in personal config.sett. ]
account name - bsnlnet
homepage - http://google.com
username -
password -
use pref.access pt. - no
& under access point settings fill in
proxy - disabled
data bearer - packet data [ try both ie, GSM/packet data ]
& under bearer settings fill in
packet data acc.pt. - bsnlnet
network type - IPv4
authentication type - normal
username -
password -
after entering the above details , activate it. [ you can activate it under Menu - » Settings - » Configuration - » Personal config.sett. ]
restart your mobile after activating the settings . you are done ! Happy Browsing .

hi!!! thanks 4 the info.. but i cant browse… how can i set the configuration setting when i have a opera mini???
@nick . after configuring the above settings , you should create an access point manually to browse using opera or any other application.
In order to do that do the following :
1. goto Settings > Configuration > Personal Config. Settings
2. delete all existing Access Points.
3. and under options : add new > accesspoint
4. account name : bsnlnet
5. data bearer : Packet Data
6. under > bearer settings > Packet data acc. pt. : bsnlnet
save the above access point configuration and
7. goto : Preferred Access Point under Configuration Settings and activate access point named “bsnlnet” [ the one you created just now ].
after activating the access point , go back to Configuration Settings and
8. “Act. def. in all apps.” and activate default in all applications.
You are done ! Just restart your phone and use any application for browsing.
Note : I think you should have a min-bal of rs:40 to browse using bsnlnet.
